الْمُصَوَّرُ

Al-Muṣawwir — The Fashioner

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ ۚ

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Lo! herein indeed are portents for men of knowledge

Niyet

Today, I will actively celebrate one difference I encounter — in culture, in opinion, in approach — as Al-Muṣawwir's deliberate art.

Tefekkür

Al-Muṣawwir integrated: the Fashioner of infinite variety asks you to celebrate — not merely tolerate — differences. The person who prays differently, who dresses differently, who speaks a different language, who comes from a different culture — they were fashioned by the same Artist who fashioned you. The variety is the point. Your job in the integrated life is to see diversity as Al-Muṣawwir's deliberate masterpiece, not as a problem to be solved.

Bu ayet üzerine

Diversity as a sign — āyah — of the same rank as the creation of the heavens and earth. That is how significant Al-Muṣawwir considers variety.

Dua

Both outer and inner beauty are fashioned — and both are worth celebrating.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, except by piety.'
