What Was Delayed Was Mercy

الْمُؤَخَّرُ

Al-Muʼakhkhir — The Delayer

لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ

And verily We sent messengers (to mankind) before thee, and We appointed for them wives and offspring, and it was not (given) to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave. For everything there is a time prescribed

Surah Ar-Ra'd (13:38)

Niyet

Today, I will make peace with every delay — knowing that Al-Muʾakhkhir's timing was always mercy.

Tefekkür

Al-Muʾakhkhir: and everything that came late — every delayed answer, every long wait — was delayed by Al-Muʾakhkhir because the timing was not yet right. The delay was mercy. It always was.

Bu ayet üzerine

Every term — likulli ajal. Nothing is early or late. Everything arrives exactly on time.

Dua

Good of this day AND what follows — trusting both the present and the future.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There is nothing that Allah decrees for the believer except that it is good for him.'
