The Prophet's Du'a for Laylat al-Qadr
On the nights you seek Laylat al-Qadr, in the last ten nights of Ramadan
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allāhumma innaka 'afuwwun tuḥibbu al-'afwa fa'fu 'annī
O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning; You love pardon, so pardon me.
Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī 3513; Sunan Ibn Mājah 3850. ʿĀʾishah asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) what to say on Laylat al-Qadr, and he taught her this.
