Patience with Allah's Justice
21 Dhul Qi'dah 1447
الْعَدْلُ
Al-‘Adl — The Just
وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا ۖ
And We set a just balance for the Day of Resurrection so that no soul is wronged in aught. Though it be of the weight of a grain of mustard seed, We bring it. And We suffice for reckoners
Surah Al-Anbiyāʾ (21:47)
ارادہ
Today, I will trust that every injustice I see or experience is known to Allah and will be addressed.
تدبر
Al-ʿAdl is The Just — perfectly, completely, without error. And yet His justice does not always arrive on your schedule. The oppressor may prosper for years. The innocent may suffer for a season. Patience with Allah's timing of justice is one of the deepest tests of faith. You are not asked to understand the delay — only to trust that the scales will be balanced, if not in this life, then in the next, with an exactness that leaves nothing unaccounted for.
آیت پر تدبر
No soul — not a single one — will be treated unjustly at all. Not even the weight of an atom will be missed. This is a promise from Al-ʿAdl.
دعا
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنتَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِّنْ عِندِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
O Allah, I have greatly wronged myself, and none forgives sins but You. So grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy upon me. You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught Abū Bakr this du'a for the prayer — beginning with self-accountability before seeking mercy. Justice starts with being honest about your own wrongs.
حدیث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Be on your guard against the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.'
