Holiness in Creation

26 Muharram 1448

الْقُدُّوسُ

Al-QuddūsThe Most Holy

The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymneth His praise; but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving

Surah Al-Isrāʾ (17:44)

ارادہ

Today, I will step outside and listen — to the wind, the birds, the rain — and imagine the tasbiḥ I cannot hear.

تدبر

Al-Quddūs at cosmic scale means that holiness is not limited to mosques and prayer mats. The universe itself is sacred — every natural law is an expression of His will, every ecosystem a sign of His design. The mountains make tasbiḥ. The thunder glorifies Him. The very stones are in awe. When science reveals the elegance of DNA or the precision of orbital mechanics, it is uncovering the fingerprints of Al-Quddūs — the Holy One whose creation reflects His purity of design.

آیت پر تدبر

Not a thing — wa in min shayʾin. Every atom, every molecule, every star. They all glorify — you just cannot hear it. The universe is a choir, and you are walking through its song.

دعا

سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ

Most Glorious, Most Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 487

Said in rukūʿ and sujūd — joining the cosmic choir. When you say SubbūḥQuddūs, you are adding your voice to the glorification of everything in existence.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'I know a stone in Makkah that used to greet me with salām before I was sent as a Prophet. I still know it.'

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2277
