Rising Above Before Ramadan

29 Safar 1448

الْعَلِيُّ

Al-‘AliyyThe Most High

إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ ۚ

Whoso desireth power (should know that) all power belongeth to Allah. Unto Him good words ascend, and the pious deed doth He exalt; but those who plot iniquities, theirs will be an awful doom; and the plotting of such (folk) will come to naught

Surah Fāṭir (35:10)

ارادہ

Today, I will set my Ramadan intention high — not just routine, but transformation.

تدبر

Al-ʿAliyy at cosmic scale is above everything — above the heavens, above the Throne, above all of creation. In Shaʿbān, the preparation is to elevate your aspirations. Do not enter Ramadan with low goals. Do not aim to 'just get through it.' Aim for Laylat al-Qadr. Aim for the complete forgiveness. Aim for the transformation. Al-ʿAliyy made you for heights — prepare accordingly.

آیت پر تدبر

Good words ascend — yaṣʿadu. And righteous deeds lift those words higher. Your dhikr rises to the Most High, carried by your actions.

دعا

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى

Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 772

Said in every sujūd — the lowest physical position declaring the Highest reality. Paradox is worship.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When you ask Allah, ask for al-Firdaws, for it is the highest part of Paradise.'

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2790
