الْمُعِيدُ

Al-Mu‘īd — The Restorer

كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ ۗ

Say: My Lord enjoineth justice. And set your faces upright (toward Him) at every place of worship and call upon Him, making religion pure for Him (only). As He brought you into being, so return ye (unto Him)

ارادہ

Today, I will identify one thing Ramadan is restoring in me — a prayer, a habit, a connection — and nurture it.

تدبر

Al-Muʿīd in Ramadan restores what the other eleven months eroded. Your focus. Your discipline. Your connection to the Quran. Your night prayers. Your charity. Ramadan is Al-Muʿīd's annual restoration project — He takes the worn, tired, distracted version of you and rebuilds it. The fast strips the corrosion; the prayer re-polishes; the Quran re-inscribes. By the end, you are restored.

آیت پر تدبر

You return — taʿūdūn. Every Ramadan is a return to your original state: the fiṭrah, the pure nature you were born with.

دعا

Set right — aṣliḥ. Restoration. The du'a of repair for the most important thing: your dīn.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Every child is born upon the fiṭrah.'
