Al-Muqaddim — The Expediter
And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who ward off (evil)
Surah Āl-ʿImrān (3:133)
Today, I will not delay any good deed — Ramadan's window is closing and Al-Muqaddim is offering now what may not be available later.
Al-Muqaddim in Ramadan brings things forward: the forgiveness that might have waited is offered now. The rank that might have taken years is granted in a single night. The closeness that might have required a lifetime of effort is available in thirty days. Al-Muqaddim expedites your spiritual journey during Ramadan — what normally takes months, He compresses into weeks.
Hasten — sāriʿū. Speed is prescribed. In Ramadan, the hastening is not optional; the opportunity is too fleeting.
O Allah, forgive all my sins — the small and the great, the first and the last, the public and the private.
Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 483
Every category of sin covered. In Ramadan, ask for comprehensive forgiveness.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever is deprived of the good of Ramadan is truly deprived.'
