12 Rabi' al-Thani 1448
التَّوَّابُ
At-Tawwāb — The Acceptor of Repentance
وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed
Surah An-Nūr (24:31)
ارادہ
Tonight, the final night, I will make one comprehensive tawbah — turning to At-Tawwāb with everything I carry.
تدبر
At-Tawwāb on the final night of Ramadan — the One who accepts repentance has been accepting it all month. Every tear in sujūd was received. Every whispered 'astaghfirullāh' was heard. Every intention to change was recorded. At-Tawwāb does not wait until you are perfect to accept your repentance — He accepts it the moment you turn back, no matter how many times you have turned before. This is your final night. Turn back one more time.
آیت پر تدبر
All of you — jamīʿan. Repentance is not for the sinful alone. It is for all believers, including the best of them. Success is conditioned on tawbah.
دعا
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
O Allah, You are the Pardoner, You love to pardon, so pardon me.
Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3513, graded ṣaḥīḥ
One last time. The du'a that has accompanied every night of Ramadan. Say it as if for the first time.
حدیث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, all his previous sins will be forgiven.'
