He Always Responds

17 Jumada al-Thani 1448

الْمُجِيبُ

Al-MujībThe Responsive

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ

And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:186)

ارادہ

Today, I will make one du'a with the certainty that Al-Mujīb will respond — because He always has.

تدبر

Al-Mujīb integrated: after 331 days, you have proof. He responded — not always the way you expected, not always when you wanted, but He responded. Every du'a was heard. Every prayer was received. Some answers came as yes, some as not yet, some as I have something better. But every single one was answered by Al-Mujīb. Trust the evidence of your own life.

آیت پر تدبر

I am near — qarīb. The most intimate verse about du'a in the Quran. No intermediary.

دعا

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House, (Abraham prayed): Our Lord! Accept from us (this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Hearer, the Knower

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:127)

Ibrāhīm's prayer — action paired with trust, effort paired with surrender.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The du'a of any one of you is answered as long as he is not impatient.'
