Restored and Returning

1 Rajab 1448

الْمُعِيدُ

Al-Mu‘īdThe Restorer

كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ

Say: My Lord enjoineth justice. And set your faces upright (toward Him) at every place of worship and call upon Him, making religion pure for Him (only). As He brought you into being, so return ye (unto Him)

Surah Al-A'rāf (7:29)

ارادہ

Today, I will thank Al-Muʿīd for restoring everything this year repaired.

تدبر

Al-Muʿīd: He restores. As the year closes, look at what has been restored: your connection to the Quran, your relationship with du'a, your understanding of who He is. Al-Muʿīd took what was faded and renewed it, what was broken and mended it, what was forgotten and reminded you of it.

آیت پر تدبر

You return — taʿūdūn. To Him. Always to Him.

دعا

اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي

O Allah, set right my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2720

Set right — ongoing restoration. The prayer never expires.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection.'

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2442, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2580
