Al-MuḥyīThe Giver of Life

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحْيَا

Today, I will take three conscious breaths and thank Al-Muḥyī for each one. Life is the first gift. Everything else is built on it.

تدبر

Al-Muḥyī: you are alive. After 345 days, the simplest blessing is still the most profound: you are alive. Al-Muḥyī gave you life, sustained it through 345 reflections, and is giving you breath to read this page. The gratitude for life does not diminish with familiarity — it deepens.

Gives life — aḥyā. Present tense. He is giving you life right now.

دعا

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
