The One Who Keeps Faith Safe
17 Rajab 1447
الْمُؤْمِنُ
Al-Muʼmin — The Guardian of Faith
هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ
He is Allah, than Whom there is no other God, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)
Surah Al-Ḥashr (59:23)
ارادہ
Today, I will not judge the quality of my faith by how it feels. I will trust that it is being guarded.
تدبر
Al-Mu’min is the Guardian of Faith — the One who secures what you believe, who protects the fragile parts of your conviction when doubt comes. Faith is not something you build alone. It is something He guards for you, even when you feel you are losing your grip on it.
آیت پر تدبر
Four Names in a single verse, each building on the last. King, Holy, Peace, Guardian. The architecture of security. Before you can feel safe, someone must be sovereign, pure, peaceful, and protective. He is all four.
دعا
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.
Sunan at-Tirmidhī 2140 (graded ṣaḥīḥ)
The du‘a the Prophet (peace be upon him) made most often. Even he asked for firmness.
حدیث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Faith wears out in your heart the way a garment wears out. So ask Allah to renew faith in your hearts.”
— Al-Mustadrak 5 (graded ṣaḥīḥ by al-Albānī)
