Fair Balance

الْمُقْسِطُ

Al-Muqsiṭ — The Equitable

وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ

And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure

Surah Ar-Raḥmān (55:7)

ارادہ

Today, I will be fair in one judgement I make about another person — giving them the benefit of doubt I would want for myself.

تدبر

Al-Muqsiṭ is The Equitable — the One who establishes balance with perfect precision. Not tipping the scales for the powerful or the popular. Al-Muqsiṭ gives each thing exactly what it is due. In your life, this means: what you are experiencing right now — the difficulty and the ease, the loss and the gain — is weighed with a precision you cannot yet see.

آیت پر تدبر

He raised the heaven AND established the balance. The architecture of the cosmos includes justice at its foundation. Balance is not an afterthought. It is structural.

دعا

A prayer to reflect His justice in your own dealings. To be muqsiṭ in your judgements, your relationships, your words.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The just will be on pulpits of light — those who are fair in their rulings, with their families, and in all that is entrusted to them.”
