He Makes Rich
11 Shawwal 1447
الْمُغْنِي
Al-Mughnī — The Enricher
وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَى
Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)
Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā (93:8)
ارادہ
Today, I will practise contentment: I will not compare what I have with what anyone else has. My rizq is from Al-Mughnī, and it is enough.
تدبر
Al-Mughnī is The Enricher — the One who removes poverty and grants sufficiency. Not necessarily wealth in the material sense, but ghinā: richness of soul, richness of contentment, richness of not needing what you do not have. The richest person is not the one with the most, but the one whose heart is satisfied. Al-Mughnī grants that satisfaction.
آیت پر تدبر
Speaking of the Prophet (peace be upon him) — found in poverty, made sufficient. The enrichment was not just financial. It was spiritual, emotional, communal. Al-Mughnī enriches on every level.
دعا
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ
O Allah, suffice me with what is lawful over what is unlawful.
Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3563
A prayer for ḥalāl sufficiency. Not just “make me rich,” but “make me rich through what is good.”
حدیث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Richness is not in having many possessions. Rather, true richness is the richness of the soul.”
