Aṣ-Ṣabūr — The Most Patient

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

O ye who believe! Endure, outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that ye may succeed

Surah Āl-ʿImrān (3:200)

ارادہ

Today, I will revisit something I learned before and discover what I missed the first time.

تدبر

Aṣ-Ṣabūr is The Most Patient — the One who is never hasty, who gives time for growth, who does not rush the process. Today marks the completion of the first cycle through the 99 Names. You have sat with each Name once. But knowledge deepens with return, not with speed. Aṣ-Ṣabūr teaches the student's most important virtue: patience. The tree that grows slowly grows strong. The scholar who revisits grows wise.

آیت پر تدبر

Three levels of patience in one verse: be patient within yourself, endure alongside others, and remain stationed at your post. The student of knowledge needs all three.

دعا

The magicians of Pharaoh said this after they believed — they went from enemies of truth to people willing to die for it, in moments. Knowledge can transform that quickly when the heart is ready.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'No one has been given a gift better and more comprehensive than patience.'
