فقدان اور سوگ

الفقدان والحداد

Death is the promise Allah made to every soul. It's not the end - it's a return. The Prophet (peace be upon him) lost his parents, his wife Khadijah, his uncle Abu Talib, his children - and he grieved them all. Your grief is valid. Your hope is too.

اہم آیت

“Who say, when a misfortune striketh them: Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning.”

Surah 2:156
متعلقہ آیات
  • “Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.”

    Surah 3:185

Everyone tastes death. Everyone. But for believers, death isn't the end — it's the reunion. You'll meet again.

  • “And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, Who say, when a misfortune striketh them: Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning. Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided.”

    Surah 2:155-157

'We belong to Allah and to Him we return.' These words unlock something: blessings, mercy, guidance. Say them. Mean them. Let them carry you.

  • “Every soul will taste of death. Then unto Us ye will be returned.”

    Surah 29:57

This goodbye isn't forever. It's temporary. The next life? That's forever. And in it — reunions that never end.

  • “But ah! thou soul at peace! Return unto thy Lord, content in His good pleasure! Enter thou among My bondmen! Enter thou My Garden!”

    Surah 89:27-30

'Return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing.' That's how Allah greets the righteous soul. Pray this was your loved one's greeting. And may it be yours.

  • “Allah receiveth (men's) souls at the time of their death, and that (soul) which dieth not (yet) in its sleep. He keepeth that (soul) for which He hath ordained death and dismisseth the rest till an appointed term. Lo! herein verily are portents for people who take thought.”

    Surah 39:42

Not the sickness. Not the accident. Allah took them. His timing. His decision. There's grief in that — but also trust. His timing is never wrong.

سیرت سے

When the Prophet's (peace be upon him) son Ibrahim died, he held him and said: 'The eyes shed tears, the heart grieves, but we say nothing except what pleases our Lord. O Ibrahim, we are grieved by your departure.' He cried, and allowed himself to grieve — but with acceptance.
