Du'a using Allah's Name Al-Qaabid Al-Baasit

يَا قَابِضُ يَا بَاسِطُ اقْبِضْ عَنِّي كُلَّ شَرٍّ وَمَعْصِيَةٍ وَابْسُطْ لِي مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَأُمْنِيَّةٍ، اقْبِضْ عَنِّي سَاعَاتِ الْأَلَمِ وَابْسُطْ لِي سَاعَاتِ الْفَرَحِ، اقْبِضْ عَنِّي أَصْحَابَ السُّوءِ وَابْسُطْ لِي صُحْبَةَ الْخَيْرِ، وَاقْبِضْ عَنِّي الْكَرْبَ وَالْهَمَّ وَالْغَمَّ وَابْسُطْ لِي الْأَمَلَ وَالْبِشْرَ

Ya Qaabidu ya Baasitu iqbid 'anni kulla sharrin wa ma'siyatin wabsut li min kulli khayrin wa umniyyah, iqbid 'anni saa'aatil alami wabsut li saa'aatil farah, iqbid 'anni ashaabas soo'i wabsut li suhbatal khayr, waqbid 'annil karba wal hamma wal ghamma wabsut lil amala wal bishr.

O Allah, The Withholder, The Extender, withhold from me all evil and disobedience, and extend to me every goodness and wish. Withhold from me hours of pain and extend to me hours of joy. Withhold from me bad companions and extend to me righteous companionship. Withhold from me distress, worry, and sadness, and extend to me hope and glad tidings.
