Du'a as Ramadan approaches

Allāhumma sallimnī li-Ramaḍāna, wa sallim Ramaḍāna lī, wa tasallamhu minnī mutaqabbalā

O Allah, keep me safe until Ramadan, keep Ramadan safe for me, and receive it from me as accepted.

Reported as a supplication of the early Muslims, from the Successor Makḥūl (al-Ṭabarānī, al-Duʿāʾ 913). The version attributed to the Prophet (peace be upon him) is weak (al-Duʿāʾ 912).
