الْوَهَّابُ

Al-Wahhāb — The Bestower

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ

Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after Thou hast guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Bestower

النية

Today, I will give something — time, attention, a kind word — without any expectation of return.

تأمّل

Al-Wahhāb gives — not as a transaction, not as an investment, not as a favour to be returned. He gives because giving is His nature. In relationships, this Name calls you to examine your generosity. Do you give expecting gratitude? Do you help expecting reciprocity? The highest form of human generosity mirrors Al-Wahhāb: giving simply because the other person needs, not because you need to be needed.

في هذه الآية

Guidance itself is a gift — a hiba — from Al-Wahhāb. You did not earn your way to faith. It was given. Knowing this should make you generous with others.

دعاء

Ibrāhīm's prayer — he asked to be given something so he could join the company of the righteous. The best gifts are the ones that bring you closer to good people.

حديث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Give gifts to one another and you will love one another.'
