الْوَاسِعُ

Al-Wāsi‘ — The All-Encompassing

وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۚ

And ordain for us in this world that which is good, and in the Hereafter (that which is good), Lo! We have turned unto Thee. He said: I smite with My punishment whom I will, and My mercy embraceth all things, therefore I shall ordain it for those who ward off (evil) and pay the poor-due, and those who believe Our revelations

Surah Al-A'rāf (7:156)

النية

Today, I will expand my patience — making room for something that feels too tight right now.

تأمّل

Al-Wāsiʿ is The All-Encompassing, The Vast — whose mercy, knowledge, and provision have no limit. When patience feels like a narrow corridor with no light, remember that you are under the care of Al-Wāsiʿ — the One whose spaciousness contains every constriction. Your trial is real, but it exists inside a mercy that is infinitely larger than it. Patience is trust that the vastness will eventually swallow the tightness.

في هذه الآية

All things — kulli shayʾ. Including your current trial. Including the thing you think is too big. His mercy is wider.

دعاء

Not for the blink of an eye — ṭarfata ʿayn. This is the ultimate acknowledgement of dependency. Without His vast mercy, we cannot even stand alone for a single moment.

حديث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah has one hundred parts of mercy. He sent down one part to the earth, and from it comes all the compassion that creation shows to one another. He kept ninety-nine parts with Himself for the Day of Judgement.'
