الفتّاح

الْفَتَّاحُ

Al-Fattāḥ The Opener

مَّا يَفْتَحِ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ

That which Allah openeth unto mankind of mercy none can withhold it; and that which He withholdeth none can release thereafter. He is the Mighty, the Wise

Surah Fāṭir (35:2)

النية

Today, I will approach one closed door (a conversation, an opportunity, a reconciliation) and trust Al-Fattāḥ to open it.

تأمّل

Al-Fattāḥ is The Opener, the One who opens what is locked, who creates passage where there is none. When a situation feels stuck, when a relationship feels sealed, when a door feels permanently closed. Al-Fattāḥ is the Name to carry. He opens hearts, opens provision, opens understanding.

في هذه الآية

None can withhold it. If He opens a door, no human being, no circumstance, no bureaucracy can close it. The reverse is also true, but this verse leads with the opening. That is where He wants your attention.

دعاء

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 713

The du’a for entering the masjid. Every time you step into a sacred space, you ask for doors to open.

حديث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays.”

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2565
