Witnessed Preparation

الشَّهِيدُ
Ash-Shahīd — The Witness
إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا
And unto each We have appointed heirs of that which parents and near kindred leave; and as for those with whom your right hands have made a covenant, give them their due. Lo! Allah is ever Witness over all things
Surah An-Nisāʾ (4:33)
النية
Today, the last day before Ramadan, I will sit quietly and ask Ash-Shahīd to accept whatever preparation I managed — imperfect as it is, it was done with sincerity.
تأمّل
Ash-Shahīd at cosmic scale witnesses everything — and as Shaʿbān ends, He has witnessed your entire preparation. Every fast you kept, every du'a you made, every sin you repented from, every Quran page you read — Ash-Shahīd saw it all. As you stand at the doorstep of Ramadan, know that your preparation has been seen, recorded, and honoured. You are ready. Not because you are perfect, but because you showed up. And showing up is enough for the One who witnesses.
في هذه الآية
Over all things — your preparation included. He witnessed the effort. He witnessed the intention. He witnessed the heart.
And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House, (Abraham prayed): Our Lord! Accept from us (this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Hearer, the Knower. Our Lord! And make us submissive unto Thee and of our seed a nation submissive unto Thee, and show us our ways of worship, and relent toward us. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Relenting, the Merciful
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:127-128)
Ibrāhīm's du'a upon completing the Ka'bah — the du'a of completion. Your Shaʿbān preparation is now complete. Ask for acceptance.
حديث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get what they intended.'
