Sovereignty After Ramadan

مَالِكُ الْمُلْكِ

Mālik al-Mulk — Owner of Sovereignty

قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ

Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! Thou givest sovereignty unto whom Thou wilt, and Thou withdrawest sovereignty from whom Thou wilt. Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest whom Thou wilt. In Thy hand is the good. Lo! Thou art Able to do all things

Surah Āl-ʿImrān (3:26)

النية

Today, I will treat my time and energy as belonging to Mālik al-Mulk — not just in Ramadan, but now.

تأمّل

Mālik al-Mulk after Ramadan — everything still belongs to Him. Your time, which you dedicated to Him in Ramadan, still belongs to Him in Shawwāl. Your body, which you disciplined through fasting, is still His. Continuity means living as His steward in every month, not just the sacred one.

في هذه الآية

He gives and takes — and the Ramadan blessings He gave can be sustained or lost. Stewardship continues.

دعاء

Said after every prayer — the constant recalibration that carries forward from Ramadan.

حديث

ʿĀishah said: 'The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked which deed is most beloved to Allah. He said: The most consistent, even if small.'
