Cosmic Revival

٢٢ ربيع الثاني ١٤٤٨

الْبَاعِثُ

Al-Bā‘ithThe Resurrector

And of His portents (is this): that thou seest the earth lowly, but when We send down water thereon it thrilleth and groweth. Lo! He Who quickeneth it is verily the Quickener of the Dead. Lo! He is Able to do all things

Surah Fuṣṣilat (41:39)

النية

Today I will look for signs of revival around me — a flower pushing through concrete, a friend recovering from hardship — and see Al-Bā'ith at work.

تأمّل

Al-Bā'ith at cosmic scale resurrects entire worlds. Every spring is a resurrection — the dead earth brought back to life. Every dawn is a resurrection — the world emerging from the darkness of night. The entire creation is a theatre of Al-Bā'ith's power: stars die and their remnants seed new stars, forests burn and new growth emerges stronger. Nothing that dies in His creation dies for nothing. Everything is raised toward purpose.

في هذه الآية

The dead earth reviving is the most visible proof of Al-Bā'ith's cosmic power — a rehearsal for the final resurrection.

دعاء

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا أَحْيَيْتَ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا فَأَحْيِ قَلْبِي بِالْإِيمَانِ

O Allah, as You have revived the earth after its death, revive my heart with faith.

General supplication

Connecting the cosmic pattern of revival to the personal need for spiritual renewal.

حديث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Do you not see that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can remove you and bring a new creation.'

Surah Ibrāhīm (14:19), referenced in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2750
