Honouring the Honoured

الْمُعِزُّ

Al-Mu‘izz — The Honourer

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا ۚ

Whoso desireth power (should know that) all power belongeth to Allah. Unto Him good words ascend, and the pious deed doth He exalt; but those who plot iniquities, theirs will be an awful doom; and the plotting of such (folk) will come to naught

النية

Today, I will honour one person who the world overlooks — a cleaner, a cashier, an elderly neighbour.

Al-Muʿizz integrated: honour others as Al-Muʿizz has honoured you. After four cycles, this is the simplest and most powerful lesson: treat every human being as someone Al-Muʿizz has already honoured by creating them. Your job is not to judge who deserves honour — it is to extend it universally, as He extended it to all children of Adam.

The definitive verse on ʿizzah: all honour belongs to Allah alone. Al-Muʿizz grants it to whomever He wills — not through wealth or status, but through nearness to Him.
