Every Deed Recorded

الْحَسِيبُ
Al-Ḥasīb — The Reckoner
وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
Prove orphans till they reach the marriageable age; then, if ye find them of sound judgment, deliver over unto them their fortune; and devour it not by squandering and in haste lest they should grow up. Whoso (of the guardians) is rich, let him abstain generously (from taking of the property of orphans); and whoso is poor let him take thereof in reason (for his guardianship). And when ye deliver up their fortune unto orphans, have (the transaction) witnessed in their presence. Allah sufficeth as a Reckoner
Surah An-Nisāʾ (4:6)
النية
Today, I will not seek validation from anyone for this year's spiritual work. Al-Ḥasīb has already counted it.
تأمّل
Al-Ḥasīb integrated: at the end of this year's journey with the Names, every deed has been recorded. Every du'a said, every intention set, every struggle endured. Al-Ḥasīb misses nothing. As Dhul Qiʿdah draws to a close and the year nears its end, take comfort: nothing was wasted. Every effort was seen. Every struggle was counted.
في هذه الآية
Sufficient — kafā. His accounting is enough. You do not need any other validation.
دعاء
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.
Sunan Abī Dāwūd 5081, graded ṣaḥīḥ

حديث
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'The one whose two days are the same is at a loss; and the one whose tomorrow is worse than today is cursed.'
