Nothing Is Lost
١٩ شعبان ١٤٤٧
الْحَفِيظُ
Al-Ḥafīẓ — The Preserver
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ ۚ
Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them), and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register
Surah Yā-Sīn (36:12)
النية
Today, I will trust that the good I have done is preserved, even if I cannot see its effect yet.
تأمّل
Al-Ḥafīẓ is The Preserver — the One who keeps things safe. Your good deeds are preserved. Your prayers are preserved. The moments of sincerity that no one saw are preserved. Nothing good is lost with Al-Ḥafīẓ. And the things you love that you fear losing? He preserves what is meant to endure.
في هذه الآية
Their traces — even the ripple effects of your actions are recorded. The kindness that inspired someone else to be kind. The lesson you taught that was passed on. Al-Ḥafīẓ preserves the echoes too.
دعاء

O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me.

Part of the morning du’a. Protection from every direction — the dangers you can see and the ones you cannot.
حديث
