The Answer Is Already Coming
٢٥ شعبان ١٤٤٧
الْمُجِيبُ
Al-Mujīb — The Responsive
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ
And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:186)
النية
Today, I will make one du’a with full conviction that Al-Mujīb is already preparing the response.
تأمّل
Al-Mujīb is The Responsive — the One who answers. Not the one who hears and files your request. The One who responds. Every du’a has a response: either the thing itself, or something better, or protection from something worse, or reward stored for the Hereafter. Al-Mujīb never leaves a prayer unanswered.
في هذه الآية
No intermediary in this verse. No “say to them” — Allah speaks directly: I am near. The directness is itself a mercy.
دعاء
يَا مُجِيبُ الدَّعَوَاتِ
O Answerer of prayers.
General du’a phrasing
Begin your du’a by calling Him by what He does: He answers.
حديث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The du’a of any one of you is answered as long as he does not become impatient and say: I made du’a but it was not answered.”
