الْوَكِيلُ
Al-Wakīl — The Trustee
وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ ۚ
And will provide for him from (a quarter) whence he hath no expectation. And whosoever putteth his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. Lo! Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah hath set a measure for all things
Surah Aṭ-Ṭalāq (65:3)
النية
Today, I will hand one outcome entirely to Al-Wakīl — and not pick it back up.
تأمّل
Al-Wakīl is The Trustee, the One to whom you can entrust everything. Tawakkul is not passivity. It is planting the seed and then releasing your grip on the rain. It is doing your part and then handing the outcome to the One whose plans are better than yours. Al-Wakīl holds what you cannot hold.
في هذه الآية
Sufficient. Not “helps a bit” or “assists.” Sufficient. Complete. When you hand it to Al-Wakīl, the transaction is done.
دعاء
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Those unto whom men said: Lo! the people have gathered against you, therefor fear them. (The threat of danger) but increased the faith of them and they cried: Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust
Surah Āl ‘Imrān (3:173)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Tie your camel, then put your trust in Allah.”
