Even surrounded by people, the heart can feel isolated. The Prophet (peace be upon him) spent years being rejected by his own tribe. Yusuf was thrown into a well by his brothers, then imprisoned alone for years. But Allah was with them. He's with you too.

الآية الرئيسية

“And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright.”

Surah 2:186
الآيات ذات الصلة
  • “If ye help him not, still Allah helped him when those who disbelieve drove him forth, the second of two; when they two were in the cave, when he said unto his comrade: Grieve not. Lo! Allah is with us. Then Allah caused His peace of reassurance to descend upon him and supported him with hosts ye cannot see, and made the word of those who disbelieved the nethermost, while Allah's Word it was that became the uppermost. Allah is Mighty, Wise.”

    Surah 9:40

A cave. Enemies outside. Just two men. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Don't grieve. Allah is with us.' Two became three. You're never just one.

  • “He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing.”

    Surah 20:46

Musa was terrified to face Pharaoh. Allah said: 'I am with you. I hear. I see.' Same words for you. He hears you. He sees you. Right now.

  • “Hast thou not seen that Allah knoweth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth? There is no secret conference of three but He is their fourth, nor of five but He is their sixth, nor of less than that or more but He is with them wheresoever they may be; and afterward, on the Day of Resurrection, He will inform them of what they did. Lo! Allah is Knower of all things.”

    Surah 58:7

Three people talking? He's the fourth. Five? He's the sixth. There's no gathering too small for His presence. You're never just you.

  • “We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.”

    Surah 50:16

Closer than your jugular vein. Closer than your own heartbeat. That's how near He is. Feel alone? He's closer than close.

  • “As for those who strive in Our (cause), We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good.”

    Surah 29:69

The path feels lonely sometimes. That's okay. Keep walking. The destination — and the company there — is worth every step.
