One Source of Every Blessing
26 Dhul Hijjah 1447
الْوَاحِدُ
Al-Wāḥid — The One
وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ
Your God is One God; there is no God save Him, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:163)
Niat
Today, every time I feel grateful, I will trace that blessing back to its one source: Allah.
Renungan
Al-Wāḥid is The One — and gratitude becomes focused when you realise every blessing has a single source. The salary comes through your employer, but from Al-Wāḥid. The healing comes through the doctor, but from Al-Wāḥid. The love comes through your family, but from Al-Wāḥid. When you trace every blessing back to its origin, all roads lead to One. Gratitude is simplified: you do not need to thank a thousand sources. You need to thank One.
Tentang ayat ini
One God — Ilāhun Wāḥid. And immediately after declaring His oneness, the verse names His mercy. The One who is One is also the One who is merciful. Oneness and mercy together.
Doa
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable.
Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6403
Said 100 times — like freeing ten slaves, with one hundred good deeds written, one hundred sins erased, and protection from Shayṭān until evening. The most comprehensive daily dhikr.
Hadis
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says Lā ilāha illa Allāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah... one hundred times a day, it will be as if he freed ten slaves.'
