As-Samī‘ — The All-Hearing
قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِي تُجَادِلُكَ فِي زَوْجِهَا
Allah hath heard the saying of her that disputeth with thee (Muhammad) concerning her husband, and complaineth unto Allah. And Allah heareth your colloquy. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower
Surah Al-Mujādilah (58:1)
Niat
Today, I will talk to Allah more — silently, throughout the day — knowing that As-Samīʿ is hearing every word.
Renungan
As-Samīʿ at cosmic scale hears everything simultaneously — the roar of a supernova, the flutter of an insect's wing, the silent du'a of a servant at 3am. Sound waves propagate through air, but His hearing has no medium, no limit, no delay. In Shaʿbān, this is an invitation: speak to Him more. The preparation for Ramadan includes increasing your conversation with Him — in du'a, in dhikr, in whispered gratitude. He is listening now.
Tentang ayat ini
ʿĀishah marvelled: 'I was in the same room and could not hear all of her speech. Yet Allah heard her from above the seven heavens.' His hearing surpasses all limits.
Doa
سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Allah hears the one who praises Him. Our Lord, and to You is all praise.
Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 795
Every rak'ah contains this declaration: He hears. The structure of prayer itself is built on the certainty that He is listening.
Hadis
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The closest a servant is to his Lord is when he is in prostration. So increase your supplication therein.'
— Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 482
