Hari 227

Sustained Toward Ramadan

2 Rabi' al-Awwal 1448

الْمُقِيتُ

Al-MuqītThe Sustainer

وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّقِيتًا

Whoso interveneth in a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whoso interveneth in an evil cause will bear the consequence thereof. Allah overseeth all things

Surah An-Nisāʾ (4:85)

Niat

Today, I will nourish my body, mind, and soul with what sustains — good food, good knowledge, good dhikr.

Renungan

Al-Muqīt at cosmic scale sustains every living system: the sun's nuclear fusion that has burned for 4.6 billion years, the photosynthesis that converts light to food, the water cycle that has been running since the earth began. In Shaʿbān, Al-Muqīt is sustaining your journey toward Ramadan. Your energy to prepare, your desire to worship, your hope for forgiveness — He is fuelling all of it.

Tentang ayat ini

Over all things — including your preparation. Your desire to improve is itself sustained by Him.

Doa

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ

O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing in this world and the next.

Sunan Ibn Mājah 3871, graded ṣaḥīḥ

ʿĀfiyah — the du'a the Prophet (peace be upon him) made more than almost any other. Ask for wellbeing so you can worship in full strength.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Ask Allah for ʿāfiyah, for no one has been given anything after certainty better than wellbeing.'

Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3558, graded ṣaḥīḥ
