Hari 243
Every Good Deed Counted
18 Rabi' al-Awwal 1448
الْمُحْصِي
Al-Muḥṣī — The Counter
وَأَحْصَى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا
That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things
Surah Al-Jinn (72:28)
Niat
Today, I will treat every small act of worship as significant — because Al-Muḥṣī is counting each one.
Renungan
Al-Muḥṣī in Ramadan: every deed is counted with multiplied weight. The scholars say good deeds in Ramadan are multiplied beyond calculation. Al-Muḥṣī counts every morsel you abstained from, every prayer you stood for, every page of Quran you read. Nothing in this month is wasted. The cosmic Accountant is working overtime in your favour.
Tentang ayat ini
Everything in number — kulli shayʾin ʿadadā. Every breath of your Ramadan fast is numbered.
Doa
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House, (Abraham prayed): Our Lord! Accept from us (this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Hearer, the Knower
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:127)
Ibrāhīm's du'a — always relevant, but in Ramadan it carries the weight of an entire day's worship.
Hadis
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever prays the night prayer in Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.'
