Hari 280

Beneficial Living

26 Rabi' al-Thani 1448

النَّافِعُ

An-Nāfi‘The Benefactor

وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge

Surah Ṭā-Hā (20:114)

Niat

Today, I will do one thing that benefits someone else — using a skill, a resource, or simply my time.

Renungan

An-Nāfiʿ integrated: to be beneficial — to people, to the earth, to the ummah — is the integrated life's purpose. After four cycles with The Benefactor, the lesson lands: you exist to benefit. Every skill, every resource, every moment is an opportunity to be nāfiʿ. The best people are those who are most beneficial to others.

Tentang ayat ini

Increase me in knowledge — the only thing the Quran commands the Prophet (peace be upon him) to ask for more of.

Doa

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge.

Sunan Ibn Mājah 925

Beneficial — nāfiʿan. Not just any knowledge. Knowledge that changes how you live.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The best of people are those most beneficial to people.'
