Hari 309

Humility as Home

25 Jumada al-Awwal 1448

الْخَافِضُ

Al-KhāfiḍThe Abaser

وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers

Surah Al-Ḥijr (15:88)

Niat

Today, humility is not my effort. It is my home.

Renungan

Al-Khāfiḍ integrated: humility is where you live now, not where you visit. After four cycles, being humble is not an effort — it is your address. You no longer need to be right in every conversation, noticed in every room, credited for every contribution. Al-Khāfiḍ has taught you that the lowest ground holds the most water.

Tentang ayat ini

Lower your wing — the protective posture of a bird covering its young. Humility as protection.

Doa

اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مِسْكِينًا وَأَمِتْنِي مِسْكِينًا وَاحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَةِ الْمَسَاكِينِ

O Allah, let me live humble, die humble, and be gathered among the humble.

Sunan at-Tirmidhī 2352, graded ḥasan

The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked for humility as a permanent state — not a temporary posture.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah will raise him.'

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2588
