الْحَكِيمُ

Al-Ḥakīm — The All-Wise

وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ

Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not

Niat

Today, I will sit with whatever I am carrying — without forcing meaning, without demanding answers. Al-Ḥakīm is holding the wisdom while my heart heals at its own pace.

Renungan

Al-Ḥakīm is The All-Wise. When you ask "why?" and receive no answer, it is not because there is no reason. It is because the reason operates on a scale of wisdom you cannot yet access. You do not have to understand the wisdom right now. It is okay if it just hurts. Al-Ḥakīm holds the "why" so your heart does not have to carry it while it heals. The wisdom exists, but your work today may simply be to grieve, to rest, to breathe — and to let Him hold what is too heavy to understand.

And it may be — the verse leaves room for surprise. The thing you resist most fiercely might be the thing that saves you. Wisdom often arrives disguised as difficulty.

Doa

The istikhara prayer is the ultimate act of trusting Al-Ḥakīm. You ask, and then you let His wisdom decide.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If Allah wants good for someone, He puts them through trials.”
