Hari 74

After Everything

26 Ramadan 1447

الْآخِرُ

Al-ĀkhirThe Last

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

Everyone that is thereon will pass away

Surah Ar-Raḥmān (55:26)

Niat

Today, I will live with the awareness that nothing I build is permanent — except what I build for His sake.

Renungan

Al-Ākhir is The Last — the One who remains when everything else has ended. Stars will burn out. Mountains will crumble. Civilisations will be forgotten. Al-Ākhir endures. When you fear the end of something — a relationship, a phase of life, your own life — remember that there is something beyond every ending, and that something is Him.

Tentang ayat ini

Everything. The verse is followed by: “And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honour.” Perishing is universal. Remaining is His alone.

Doa

وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٌ

And You are the Last — there is nothing after You.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2713

The companion to last night’s du’a. After everything, He remains. After you, He remains. That is not a threat. It is a promise of permanence.

Hadis

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “This world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.”

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2956
