Pengasuhan Anak
تربية الأبناء
Children are a trust (amanah) from Allah. Every prophet prayed for righteous offspring. The goal isn't perfect children - it's raising souls who know their Lord. Plant seeds; Allah grows the tree.
“And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil).”
Surah 25:74- 1
“And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong - And We have enjoined upon man concerning his parents - His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years - Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying.”
Surah 31:13-14Luqman's first lesson to his son: 'Don't associate partners with Allah.' Not manners. Not grades. Tawhid first. Foundation first. Everything else builds on that.

“O my dear son! Establish worship and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity, and persevere whatever may befall thee. Lo! that is of the steadfast heart of things.”
Surah 31:17Luqman's curriculum: pray, stand for good, handle hardship. That's it. That's the whole education. Is this what you're teaching?
- 3
“And enjoin upon thy people worship, and be constant therein. We ask not of thee a provision: We provide for thee. And the sequel is for righteousness.”
Surah 20:132You can't force them to believe. But you can build a home where prayer is normal. Where salah is just what you do. Start there.

“And make mention in the Scripture of Ishmael. Lo! he was a keeper of his promise, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet. He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord.”
Surah 19:54-55Ismail's legacy wasn't buildings or wealth. It was a family that prayed. Generations later, they still prayed. What's your legacy building?

“O ye who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire whereof the fuel is men and stones, over which are set angels strong, severe, who resist not Allah in that which He commandeth them, but do that which they are commanded.”
Surah 66:6You can't control their choices. You can only warn them, guide them, love them. The rest is their journey — and Allah's.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When a person dies, their deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that benefits others, and a righteous child who prays for them.' Your child's dua can reach you even in the grave.
