الْمُحْصِي

Al-Muḥṣī — The Counter

وَإِن تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا ۗ

And He giveth you of all ye ask of Him, and if ye would count the bounty of Allah ye cannot reckon it. Lo! man is verily a wrong-doer, an ingrate

ارادہ

Today, I will count ten specific blessings before I check my phone, my email, or my worries.

تدبر

Al-Muḥṣī is The One who counts and accounts for everything — every atom, every deed, every blessing. And the Quran tells us directly: if you tried to count the blessings of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Al-Muḥṣī can count them, but you cannot. Gratitude, then, is not about completing the list — it is about starting it. Every blessing you notice is a doorway to a thousand you missed.

آیت پر تدبر

Lā tuḥṣūhā — you cannot count them. This is not a challenge; it is a statement of fact. The blessings are literally uncountable. Your job is to try anyway.

دعا

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said whoever says this in the morning has fulfilled the gratitude of that day. One sentence. That is all it takes to begin.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Look at those who are below you and do not look at those who are above you, for that is more likely to prevent you from belittling the blessings of Allah upon you.'
