Al-Mājid — The Noble

بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَّجِيدٌ * فِي لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍ

ارادہ

Today, I will practise noble gratitude — thanking someone for something they thought I didn't notice.

تدبر

Al-Mājid is The Noble, The Glorious — the One whose generosity is not calculated but overflowing. He does not give you exactly what you deserve; He gives you far more. That is majd — nobility that exceeds expectation. Noble gratitude mirrors this: it does not thank only for the big blessings but overflows into the small ones, the overlooked ones, the ones so constant you stopped noticing them.

آیت پر تدبر

The Quran itself is described as majīd — noble, glorious. The fact that you can read it, that it was preserved for you across fourteen centuries, is an act of nobility from Al-Mājid.

دعا

Every prayer ends with Ḥamīd Majīd — Praiseworthy and Noble. The last divine attributes you invoke before the salām are gratitude and nobility.

حدیث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah is Noble and loves nobility. He loves the highest of matters and detests the lowest of them.'
