Ar-Razzāq — The Ever-Providing
وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا
And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependeth on Allah. He knoweth its habitation and its repository. All is in a clear Record
Surah Hūd (11:6)
ارادہ
Today, I will write down three provisions I have received this week that I did not earn.
تدبر
Ar-Razzāq is The Ever-Providing. Rizq is not only money. It is the breath in your lungs this morning, the person who smiled at you yesterday, the idea that has not yet arrived but is on its way. Rizq is anything that sustains you, and its source is singular. Today, notice what has already been provided.
آیت پر تدبر
Upon Allah. Not upon you, not upon your employer, not upon the economy. The guarantee is divine. The creature’s job is to walk the earth. The provision is His job.
دعا
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds.
Sunan Ibn Mājah 925 (graded ṣaḥīḥ by al-Albānī)
Three things the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked for after the taslīm (conclusion) of the Fajr prayer. Knowledge, rizq, and accepted work — a complete life.
حدیث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds — they go out hungry in the morning and return full in the evening.”
— Sunan at-Tirmidhī 2344 (graded ṣaḥīḥ)
