Noble Beyond Measure

الْمَاجِدُ
Al-Mājid — The Noble
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
And lo! thou art of a tremendous nature
Surah Al-Qalam (68:4)
ارادہ
Today, I will send ṣalāt on the Prophet (peace be upon him) ten times — slowly, with meaning, not as a formula.
تدبر
Al-Mājid is The Noble — nobility in its purest form: honour combined with generosity combined with permanence. Human nobility fades; divine nobility endures. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was the noblest human being — and his nobility was a reflection of Al-Mājid. To love the Prophet (peace be upon him) is to love the nobility that made him.
آیت پر تدبر
Allah Himself testifies to the Prophet (peace be upon him)’s character. Not his miracles, not his victories — his character. This is the quality that Al-Mājid honoured most.
دعا
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation
The basic ṣalāt ‘alā an-Nabī, commanded in Surah Al-Aḥzāb (33:56)
Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet (peace be upon him). When you send ṣalāt, you join the company of angels.
حدیث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever sends one ṣalāt upon me, Allah will send ten blessings upon him.”
