Du'a for good deeds and love for the needy

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ، وَتَرْكَ الْمُنْكَرَاتِ، وَحُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ بِعِبَادِكَ فِتْنَةً فَاقْبِضْنِي إِلَيْكَ غَيْرَ مَفْتُونٍ

Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'lal-khayrati, wa tarkal-munkarati, wa hubbal-masakini, wa idha aradta bi'ibadika fitnatan faqbidhni ilayka ghayra maftun

O Allah, I beg You to make me do good deeds, shun reprehensible things, and love the needy. If You plan to afflict Your servants with a trial, then take me to You without being afflicted.
