اليوم 3
The Sovereign Beginning
١٤ رجب ١٤٤٧
الْمَلِكُ
Al-Malik — The King
فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۗ
Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge
Surah Ṭā-Hā (20:114)
النية
Today, I will release one thing I have been trying to control — and trust the King.
تأمّل
Al-Malik is the King — the One whose authority is not inherited, not elected, not contested. At the start of a new year, this Name is grounding. Your plans, your anxieties about what lies ahead, your need for control — all of it rests inside a sovereignty that has never trembled.
في هذه الآية
True — Al-Haqq. His kingship is not ceremonial or symbolic. It is the most real thing there is. When the year feels uncertain, the throne is not.
Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! Thou givest sovereignty unto whom Thou wilt, and Thou withdrawest sovereignty from whom Thou wilt. Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest whom Thou wilt. In Thy hand is the good. Lo! Thou art Able to do all things
Surah Āl ‘Imrān (3:26)
A du‘a that is also a declaration: all power arrangements are temporary except His.
حديث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Allah will gather all of creation on the Day of Resurrection, then He will say: I am the King. Where are the kings of the earth?”
— Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2788
