The Sacred and the Pure

١٥ رجب ١٤٤٧

الْقُدُّوسُ

Al-QuddūsThe Most Holy

يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, the Mighty, the Wise

Surah Al-Jumu‘ah (62:1)

النية

Today, I will create one moment of sacred stillness — even sixty seconds of undistracted remembrance.

تأمّل

Al-Quddūs is The Most Holy — pure beyond anything impure, sacred beyond anything profane. In a world that constantly muddles your categories, this Name is clarity itself. There is something in existence that is entirely clean, entirely whole, entirely set apart. Begin the year knowing that purity exists, and it is not beyond your reach.

في هذه الآية

Everything is already glorifying Him. The heavens, the earth, the cells in your body. Holiness is not something distant — it is the background hum of all creation.

دعاء

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ

Glory be to Allah and His praise. Glory be to Allah, the Magnificent.

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6682

Two phrases beloved to Allah, light on the tongue, heavy on the scales.

حديث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Cleanliness is half of faith.”

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 223
