The One Who Sees It All
٢ رمضان ١٤٤٧
الشَّهِيدُ
Ash-Shahīd — The Witness
قُلْ كَفَى بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ
Say: Allah sufficeth for a witness between me and you. Lo! He is Knower, Seer of His slaves
Surah Al-Isrāʼ (17:96)
النية
Today, I will let go of the need for human witnesses to my effort. Ash-Shahīd is enough.
تأمّل
Ash-Shahīd is The Witness — present at every scene, every moment, every hidden exchange. He was there for the injury no one else saw. He was there for the kindness no one acknowledged. He was there for the prayer you made in the dark. Nothing in your story is unwitnessed.
في هذه الآية
Sufficient. You do not need the world to validate your truth. When the witness is Allah, the verdict is already complete.
دعاء
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ شَهِيدِي
O Allah, You are my Witness.
General du’a phrasing from prophetic supplication
When you feel unheard or unseen by people, redirect your appeal. He witnesses.
حديث
The Prophet (peace be upon him) on his final pilgrimage said: “O Allah, bear witness” — three times, as he asked the people: “Have I conveyed?”
