الْبَاعِثُ

Al-Bā‘ith — The Resurrector

كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ ۖ

How disbelieve ye in Allah when ye were dead and He gave life to you! Then He will give you death, then life again, and then unto Him ye will return

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:28)

النية

Today, I will see my waking as a gift of revival — and use this new life well.

تأمّل

Al-Bā‘ith is The Resurrector — the One who raises what has fallen, who revives what has died. This Name is not only about the Day of Judgement. It is about today. Every morning is a small resurrection. Every recovery from illness, from heartbreak, from failure — Al-Bā‘ith is at work, raising you up from where you fell.

في هذه الآية

You were lifeless. You were nothing. And then you were. That first resurrection already happened. Every other revival is a continuation of the same power.

دعاء

The du’a upon waking. Every morning you rehearse resurrection. Every morning Al-Bā‘ith gives you back to yourself.

حديث

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When one of you goes to sleep, his soul is taken; if Allah wills, He returns it, and if He wills, He takes it.”
