Hari 138
Sustained Through Trials
1 Dhul Hijjah 1447
الْمُقِيتُ
Al-Muqīt — The Sustainer
وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّقِيتًا
Whoso interveneth in a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whoso interveneth in an evil cause will bear the consequence thereof. Allah overseeth all things
Surah An-Nisāʾ (4:85)
Niat
Today, I will acknowledge that my ability to endure is itself a gift from Allah, not my own strength.
Renungan
Al-Muqīt is The Sustainer — the One who provides exactly what is needed to survive every moment, including the difficult ones. When you wonder how you made it through last year, last month, last night — that was Al-Muqīt. He did not remove the trial. He sustained you through it. Patience is not something you produce from within yourself; it is something He provides. You are not being patient alone. He is sustaining your patience.
Tentang ayat ini
Over all things — kulli shayʾ. Not just the big things, not just the spiritual things. He sustains your heartbeat, your breath, your will to keep going. All of it is maintained by Al-Muqīt.
Doa
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
O Allah, I ask You for wellbeing in this world and the next.
Sunan Ibn Mājah 3871, graded ṣaḥīḥ
ʿĀfiyah — wellbeing, safety, being spared from trial. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked for this more than almost anything else. Not because he lacked courage, but because he had wisdom.
Hadis
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Ask Allah for wellbeing (ʿāfiyah), for no one has been given anything after certainty better than wellbeing.'
